Diver Requirements
AOW Certification recommended so you can visit some of the deeper sites. However, there several sites that are accessible to OW certified divers.


Below the Surface
Some of the bests sites to visit include:
Balicasag Island, home to a marine sanctuary and filled with colorful coral and visited by many pelagic species, including Jackfish, Giant Barracuda, and Sea Turtles. You can also spot Reef Sharks and swim along the wall at the edge of the reef. Strong currents are possible as well.
Pamilacan Island, home to vibrant coral reefs, abundant marine life. You will see Sea Turtles, Rays, and schools of reef fish. It is also possible to see Dolphins and Whale Sharks if you are lucky.
Napaling Reef is home to massive schools of Sardines! You can dive, surrounded by the fish balls and enjoy this unforgettable sight!
Above the Surface
There are many beautiful beaches to visit and a lot of good snorkeling as well. Panglao is known as a quiet, relaxing place to visit and unwind.

How to Get There
You can fly into Panglao International Airport (TAG) and most hotels and dive shops will arrange pickup at the hotel.

Peak Season: December to May during the dry season
During the wet season (June to November), visibility can be lower but still decent for most dive sites.
