Badouzi Bay: Iron House / Iron Reef
These are artificial reefs made of steel shaped like the framework of houses. Within its confines, reside an array of fish using them as protection from predators such as the amberjacks.
Within Badouzi Bay hides several intriguing dive sites. Iron House and Iron Reef are 2 separate sites, but house very similar marine life. They were built for the protection of the local fish species. Iron House has 3 of these structures placed about 50m apart, connected by a thin rope. Iron Reef is identical but only has 2.

Site Details
You’ll often see large schools of batfish, chickenfish, fusiliers, glassfish, and damsels at these sites. If you’re lucky, you may also see a goliath grouper or a school of 30cm long amberjacks. On occasion, we’ve also seen a flash of a larger specimen as big as 1m long.
