Rescue Ready Course
Be the diver everybody can rely on!
Overview
Join us as we review important Emergency First Response (EFR) skills and focus on diving-related medical emergency scenarios, including:
*Diving accident response
*Marine life injuries
*Emergency assessment
*Group CPR practice
*Rescue teamwork and confidence building
Prerequisites
* No minimum age, but recommended for students 12 years old or older
* This course is NOT a Scuba Diving Course
* Recommended for EFR & Rescue Certified Divers
Time Frame
The Rescue Ready Course is a performance based course, so classroom session length varies, but the average course is 4-5 hours. The course is taught at Fun Divers Dive Center.
Materials
*No additional materials needed, but we recommend students review the EFR/First Aid materials and videos before the course.
Equipment
* All equipment is provided
Notes
*This course is NOT a certification course, it is a Review Course, and covers the EFR course with additional Diving Related Scenarios. It is recommended for EFR and Rescue Diver Certified individual. If you want to get certified, you will need to take the EFR and Rescue Diver Courses.
