Raja Ampat Liveaboard December 3-10, 2023 Raja Ampat, which in Indonesian means ‘Four Kings’, is a Marine Park world renowned for being the epicenter of marine biodiversity. The park covers a large area with approximately 320 km separating the northern and southern extremities. It would be possible to dive for weeks without seeing the same sites twice. Raja Ampat can be divided into three sections covering the North, Central and Southern Sections. The administrational center of Raja Ampat is the small town of Waisai on Waigeo Island. This is where our cruise starts. Over the next 7 days we will visit and dive the Dampier Strait, West Waigeo up to Aljui Bay and the Pianyemo group of islands before we return to Waisai. Divers will see a wonderful underwater world: hard coral reefs with the occasional soft coral and black coral, large schools of fish such as Travelly, Barracuda, Fuselier, and Surgeonfish. Manta Rays and sharks including the bottom dwelling Wobbegong are spotted regularly. On this cruise we spend all nights at anchor. Total number of dives planned on this cruise: 18 dives. Please note that all itineraries and dive sites are subject to various unpredictable changes, including weather changes and changes in local and national government approval. We will make every effort to select the best available sites on all cruises. Make sure to carry the following when you check in on board • Passport • Diver certification card (Advanced or higher, Nitrox) • Proof of dive insurance (DAN or similar) All Divers Must be AOW and EANx Certified and have 30 dives minimum. The remaining balance must be paid by Nov 2nd, 2023 Price includes: All transportation after arrival in Sorong Airport on 03 Dec until check-in at hotel on 09 Dec.
